Blaise Castle Estate

Nestled in the north of Bristol, Blaise Castle Estate offers a wonderful combination of natural beauty, local history, and fantastic family facilities.

Spanning 400 acres of spectacular Grade II listed parkland, the estate features deep limestone gorges, ancient woodlands, and winding walking paths perfect for dog walkers and nature enthusiasts.

Atop the hill sits the estate's namesake, an 18th-century folly castle that looks straight out of a fairy tale and offers commanding views of the surrounding countryside.

Down in the valley, the historic 18th-century Blaise Castle House operates as a museum of social history, showcasing everyday life from the past with collections of Victorian toys, costumes, and domestic equipment. With a massive children’s adventure playground and a welcoming café, it is a brilliant, budget-friendly destination for a full day of outdoor exploration and historic discovery.

Blaise Castle Estate is always open.  Access may be restricted on major event days. Admission is free to the Blaise Castle Estate.
