Slimbridge Wetland Centre
World-renowned wetland and wildlife
The Slimbridge Wetland Centre is a world-class wildlife reserve founded by the legendary conservationist Sir Peter Scott.
Set on the banks of the River Severn, the centre offers visitors the chance to see an incredible array of waterbirds, including flamingos, swans, and rare geese, as well as otters and water voles.
The site features various hides for birdwatching, a scenic canoe safari, and the "Welly Boot Land" play area for children.
Visitors can also explore the Scott House Museum to learn about the history of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT).
It is a beautiful and educational destination that combines cutting-edge conservation work with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, offering a unique opportunity to get close to some of the world’s most spectacular wetland wildlife.
